On June 30, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, a super project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area that runs from Shenzhen in the east to Zhongshan in the west, was officially opened to traffic. As a world-class cross-sea cluster project integrating bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater connections, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel has the world's longest two-way eight-lane submarine immersed tube tunnel, with a submarine tunnel of 6,845 meters long and an immersed tube section of 5,035 meters long, consisting of 32 pipe sections and 1 final joint.

According to relevant information, an urban tunnel with an average daily traffic volume of 100,000 vehicles emits hundreds of tons of CO, tens of tons of NOx and VOCs, and tons of fine particulate matter, which is equivalent to the emissions of a medium-sized enterprise. Therefore, if you want to keep the air fresh in a relatively closed space, heavy traffic, and long distance tunnel, you need to truly "purify" the air.

KLEAN Tunnel Air Purification Solutions

Ceiling Type

Smoke Shaft Type
In view of the limited space of the existing tunnel, a ventilation shaft can be set up, and the purification equipment can be installed at the interface of the shaft, and the smoke can be purified during the flow and discharge of the shaft

Bypass Type
A bypass tunnel is excavated on the side of the main tunnel, and a purification project is built inside, which has a high cost.

A tunnel applied KLEAN's ceiling-mounted purification technology solution and deployed KLEAN's tunnel air equipment in the tunnel. The equipment adopts the principle of electrostatic dust removal, equipped with a safe and stable dual-drive IoT power supply and an efficient and durable stainless steel dual-drive electric field, which can achieve a dust removal efficiency of more than 95%, and can purify high-temperature dust-containing flue gas; in addition, the equipment is equipped with an automatic cleaning device to ensure the equipment purification efficiency.

The total length of the project applied to a certain tunnel is 7.09KM, and the total processing capacity of the system reaches 720,000m³/h. At the same time, it can be remotely controlled by a microcomputer on demand to achieve flue gas purification and energy saving and consumption reduction.
